Looking to buy new monitors... input?

I'm leaning towards the Samsung T240 at the moment (24" LCD panel), Best Buy has them for $399 which isn't a bad price, reviews are pretty solid but I do have some concerns with backlight bleeding that I've read about.

Anyone have suggestions as to what monitors I should look at? I'm still using Trinitron CRT's, and I want to recover some desk space, but I don't want to sacrifice on image crispness and a good quality picture to regain that space.

Any input's appreciated, thanks.

I'm working on dual Samsung Syncmaster 245B plus at the moment. Very good 24" monitor for around 300 euros. No problems so far with any samsung monitors as loch already stated.

I recently bought an Eizo S2431WE-BK. It provides colors like I have never seen before. Also it has a non-glare screen, so you are not sitting in front of a mirror the whole day. They are a bit more expensive but they come with 5 year warranty and great professional service. I can really recommend this one.

Brands don't really matter. You can get a Samsung with the crappiest panels made (TN) or with the best panels made (IPS). The same goes for any other brand even apple, they've sold TN panels. If you care about quality find one with the best panel or at least not TN.
Check out the buyers guide here for info and a list... http://www.lcdresource.com/
