I don't live there anymore, i live in Brisbane Australia now. But i lived in Strabane (northern ireland), Howth (Dublin) and in Clonmel (Tipperary).

I'm implying it's an attempt to undermine the party. Sure, i could be wrong, but i'd rather wait until the issue is resolved/investigated before i cling too tightly to any idea. I think Sinn Fein will be cleared of any wrong doing. But that's just what i think, guess we'll have to wait and see!

Hey chodadog is there a lot of people from N.Ireland/Ireland living in Brisbane ? I'm considering moving there in the future and I'm trying to get info from people from Brisbane. Also how did your broad accent come across over there ?

and as regards to this thread that I spent over an hour reading. Unless you come from or have lived in N.Ireland then you don't know what your talking about

The irish pubs are always pretty full of people with Irish accents, so i'm guessing there's quite a few people about. There's an Irish club as well, which my family are member's of.

When i first came here, my accent was pretty strong, but the chicks loved it. haha. Gone now though, just sound like an Australian that's been beaten about the head a bit.

I don't doubt that i've made quite a few factual errors ;)
