The selection is rather vast at well over 2,100 gbs... Our network is growing rapidly and we accumulate about 1 new terabyte of porn every couple months.

they have buttloads of video.. it's their unique selling point.. i don't know what it is now but you got access to like 5 gb a month accruing of content.. so the longer you're with them the more you get access to. but you need to have a site when you join you can't just signup and make a site with their stuff.

yeah, i've followed them closely for years. my content was routinely stolen and used by various scammers a couple of years back. AB were always cool about removing it

2100 gigs though. damn that's a lot of fucking content.

That IS a lot of content, but...

Remember the days of downloading a 100k file and thinking it was HUGE?

It's all relative to the technology of the time. In 20 years, 2.1 tets will be nada.

I remember a few years ago, there was this Mac loving News paper reporter saying
"why do we need more than 200 megabyte harddrives anyway, if it weren't for microsoft and there 120 meg installs we would hardly need anymore, and now they have 800 mega harddrives why bother, who needs more than 200 megs other than computer game addicted kids"

Fuck kinda funny when you think about downloading full screen near video quality porn movies and 2,100,000 megabytes available for download.

How do they get that many damn harddrives, shit my servers only have 30 gigs and those damn scsi drives cost the bomb

Sammy

They probably have an EMC Symmetrix or Hitachi Lightning on the floor serving this stuff up.

On that note, for those of you involved in streaming or mpeg delivery, are you focusing much on your disk architectures? Disk I/O is important, but I rarely see conversations on the matter.

It's actually 640k, unsubstantiated, and he's always said that he's never said it..

Straight up urban legend.

Cheers,
Backov

I have always believed that at Adult Bouncer's $19.95 pricepoint they are the best porn value on the net.

yes, 640K - i'd deny it too ;)

have you heard of his book, "the road ahead"? it was published just before the internet really took off. he mostly wrote off the internet as a novelty (near the end of the book) in the first run. he then had the ending rewritten to include the internet as part of his strategy. hahaha.

and that's not urban legend

Do they actually have that much content?

or

Do they access to that much content?

I took a look at their program last year and I seem to remember you had to submit a request for the video you wanted to use from their list and then a few days or a week later the video would be ready and could be used.

So that 2,100 gbs figure may not be what is online but everything that is available to them.

I don't use the program so I could be way off base however.

Adult Bouncer looks really good. Two things concern me though;

1. They're hosting Celebrity sites, celeb mpegs, etc. after all the Perfect10 bullsh.. er.. trouble.
2. Numerous GFY posts seem to suggest they're not exactly using licensed content across their system.

Anyone from AB post here ?

Only my second post but I've been using AdultBouncer for about a year so I thought I'd chip in.

You get to choose 5 videos every month, the selection is good but not great, I also use DeluxePass and their selection is much better (Elegant Angel, Legend, Jill Kelly, Adam & Eve). I've stopped promoting my AdultBouncer sites as their videos are all in WMV format which the surfers hate and is near impossible to edit or make vidcaps form. According to AdultBouncer many studios won't let them use their movies in any other format so you can't really blame AB.

I prefer DeluxePass as I think AB has got too big for it's boots, their stats are really poor, download speeds are getting worse, and they're letting any old shitty sites into their system which just devalues the whole thing

Retention as I'm sure you can imagine is amazing at both DP and AB - 6 months is pretty common

Anyway if you want to sign up using my links it would be nice but I'm sure you can figure out the real URLs yourself :-)

ADULTBOUNCER: http://www.adultbouncer.com/webmaster.php?wref=ab6494
DELUXEPASS: http://www.deluxepass.com/webmasters...035&siteid=666

Just to add about the licencing thing. There used to be alot of sites using unlicensed movies on both networks and if I'm honest neither of them seemed to care much but recently AdultBouncer escpecially has really cracked down and you will rarely find any non licensed stuff

AB is really doing a lot better with the movie selection/downloads for their webmasters. They just upped it from 3 to 5 titles/month, and while the movies are now in the WMV format, most titles are also coming with a good number of screen caps, which saves you the job of capturing. If you really have a hard on for WMV you can always convert them into AVI and then do what you want to them. AB has also picked up a few more studios recently, too. I have been with them a while, and I think they are doing better then ever.
