nice jacket for skiing
I realize there are lots of people who ski here! I need a new jacket, been looking at some Helly Hansen Ones, local stores and online.... Know any other decent jackets/brand names I can look for?

Mountain Hardwear's alpinism shells are great for skiing. They are extremely expensive.. $400 - $700.. but they make the best winter outerwear in the world imo.
Go to a general outdoors or mountaineering store rather than a ski store for this sort of stuff. You'll get better prices, better clothing, and they will usually have the high end MH stuff plus a whole bunch of much cheaper Goretex knockoffs. |
