just had this thought.... do the people you socialize with in real life (non-industry people) also share all of this internet sense of humor...?

I mean stupid things like Rick-Roll, ******* or lol-cat... I guess everyone on GFY knows them, but how about the 'normal' people out there?

well considering that during this years Macy's (I think) Parade there was a rick roll by Rick himself It would be safe to say that at least the most "popular" web things are offline as well as online.

I do find myself doing odd shit IRL like saying BRB as I leave a room.... normally followed by bashing my head into a wall lol

But yeah from what I've noticed MOST people know about the "meme" and don't kid yourself it's US that is the last to know about most of these 'fads' by the time it hits GFY it's pretty much on it's way "out"
