Sorry Max, the answer is NO. There is NO tactful way to say anything negative about your girlfriend. We women are sensitive creatures and will take whatever you say straight to heart. Its sad I know but I'm afraid that is the simple truth. I even get upset sometimes when my hubby tells me my breath stinks after eating garlic. We're silly creatures I'm afraid.
