is it durable or better not move it around and keep inside the room?

I have a macbook (not a pro) and I take it pretty much everywhere. It is pretty tough.

dude i have friends who use macbook pros for dj shows and travel around the world using them to perform, yes they are durable

My girl manages a mobile lab of over 30 MBPs at Cornell University. They're in use constantly and over the past year they've have only 1 issue with 1 unit...and that was because it was stolen.

i once set my macbook on top of my friend's car while i was getting in on the passenger side and like an idiot i left it up there as she drove off. it smashed to the ground in the middle of a busy street, was possibly run over by another car and i did my radio show using the laptop 20 mins after i picked it up off of the ground. small dent but otherwise fine. however, i wouldn't take it on the beach. sand in the keyboard sounds like a nightmare.

I have a regular macbook for 2 years now and take it with me everywhere. Sure the outside is scratched up a bit but it works like a charm.

I love my Macpro, take it everywhere .. However I would stay away from the beach.
