I sure did find it funny when during the X-Sale seminar at Internext that when it came time for Q&A from the audience, the only thing asked or said was, "I really don't know what a cross sale is" by a porn star. The rest of you cunts sat there with cupping your little vaginas.

No one ever does. Thats why I have been telling people to shut the fuck up about tubes. Seriously, do something about it or shut the fuck up about them. Cross sales I don't have much of an issue with. Legit cross sales are fine. The credit card fraud that has popped up as of late is really fucked and is really crippling our industry. Cross sales have gotten a bad name. What has been happening lately is not cross sales, it's credit card fraud under the guise of people defining them as cross sales.

Very few people have the balls to stand up in front of a room full of people and go at it. Oh, wait, I did that. As I remember correctly, you were at the first one.

I don't care about them so long as they are disclosed.

I went to that seminar not to learn about them, I went to watch what I thought would be a heated debate. I was seriously shocked when the room was silent. Of ALL the seminars, that one had the least amount of input from the audience.

I agree with you 100% that they are bandwagon jumpers. That is my whole point and I think it has caused a lot of unneeded problems.

most of the people who bitch about xsales are affiliates, not companies/programs. they are the ones making money, why would they care?

i dont think there was a whole lot of affiliates at Internext this year as their was in the previous years, so no one was there to bring up trouble.

There aren't that many processors doing adult, its really up to them. If they think allowing shady cross-sales wont hurt their own future then there isnt much we can do.
