Depends my voip phone is 10, actually you have to dial a 1 also, but I think there is something in the adapter settings I can change to make it 7. Cell phone is 7

10 - they just started it a few years ago. This is such a tiny little town but the area code is most of North GA AND some towns south of ATL (which is crazy).

When I was in college we only had to dial 4 digits because everyone had the same exchange. And when my grandfather had his farm he, my cousins and 3 other families were on a party line. It's an interesting process to dial someone on your party line ;)

Depends on the age of the telephone connection. Some old ones have 4 digits, today they are at least 6 digits, but in most cases 7. It´s all without area codes. Local calls don´t need an area code.
