Eddie Murphy is slated to play the Riddler (isn't that a white character?) and Shia LeBeouf is going to be playing Robin. Fuck both of them, they suck!!! I wonder if they'll dress up Eddie Murphy and let him play several characters like they do in all of his other shitty movies.

AWFUL CASTING DECISION!!!!

Also, Phillip Seymour Hoffman is going to play the Penguin and Rachel Weisz is to play Catwoman.

Talk about taking something great and ruining it with bad casting. A franchise with a great upside just took a huge dump if they follow through with these casting decisions.

If I recall correctly a lot of people were bitching/crying about Heath Ledger as the Joker. Eddie Murphy as the Riddler doesn't sound good at all but I guess we'll see.

Ya I was thinking the same thing when they announced Ledger, so Ill give them some leeway. They new batch of Batman movies has yet to let me down.

There's also the chance that they will go with a villain that is less known, such as they did in the first Batman film.

Hoffman as penguin might be interesting, but you have to remember that he was originally rumoured to be the next villain in what was eventually produced as The Dark Knight.

It was missing the character development aspect of the first one which is what made it stand out.
