Eddie Murphy is slated to play the Riddler (isn't that a white character?) and Shia LeBeouf is going to be playing Robin. Fuck both of them, they suck!!! I wonder if they'll dress up Eddie Murphy and let him play several characters like they do in all of his other shitty movies.

Hoffman is an Oscar winner who has never been bad in a film. Weisz is an Oscar winning actress who can act. Murphy is just a red herring.

Its all rumors. Nolan hasn't even said he would direct a third yet (which there is not even a script for yet) who seems (other than Bale) to be the most important person in the franchise. Everyone getting their panties in bunches...

Nolan has made it quite clear that Robin has no place in his Batman movies.

There's also the chance that they will go with a villain that is less known, such as they did in the first Batman film.

Hoffman as penguin might be interesting, but you have to remember that he was originally rumoured to be the next villain in what was eventually produced as The Dark Knight.

the last batman was OK. I personally thought it was overrated. Heath Ledger was AMAZING though for sure! without him it would have been just another super hero flick.

It was missing the character development aspect of the first one which is what made it stand out.

You know I thought the same thing when I saw Tom Cruise cast as Lestat in InterView with a Vampire. The move was AWESOME and he did an amazing job.

the last one, batman wasn't the star, the Joker was, so picking the next villian role, they're going to need an actor that can pull it off. Someone that can do Drama and comedy like Johnny Depp, I could so see him doing that
