DO NOT GET A POSTAL BOX WITH A COMPANY!!!

I made this mistake because my GF worked for a local place. So I bought a box there and they went out of business. She moved to another place and I stupidly went with her. Since then I have changed to the Post Office and would advice everyone to do the same.

At least once every 2 months someone sends my check or present or some other shit to my old addresses. Even when their systems show the current one as my PO BOX...

Another nice thing about most Post Offices is that you can access your mailbox 24/7/365 where the postal places have business hours.

I had the same shit happen twice too. Probably seems like a fun/easy business idea to open one, but they never last. There's two more

Try earthclassmail.com, they scan your mail and send you an email when you get a letter. You login and decide if you need it or want it shredded. They now have a solution where they can even lodge checks for you.

post offices move sometimes too

I think if you pick a busy UPSstore that is in a pretty steady business strip that should be ok too, avoid a brand new store

good tip. I'm lucky enough to be within a quarter mile of the post office here, so there was no question due to location, but there is a biz in my town that has po boxes for rent.
