I am so sorry for your loss Tony. I lost my dad this May after a long struggle with COPD and emphysema. No words I can say except, he isn't suffering any longer. Finally he has peace.

Sorry for your loss Tony.. Just remember the happy days... I lost my father 9 years ago to cancer he was only 48! .. I just recently been to 3 funerals within 3 weeks of each other..pretty crazy... the holidays are always the toughest.

Sorry to hear that. I went through something similar with my dad six years ago; I was with him when he died from emphysema. I felt lucky to be with him, but I'm still grieving all these years later. It's been a hard memory to live with being the only family member there when he passed away.
I know it's normal as adults to have to deal with the death of parents, but it's amazing how little we really talk about it. Take it easy - it's tough and can take longer to process than anyone prepares you for. |

I am SO sorry for your loss. I lost my dad unexpectedly 17 years ago. He passed away of a heart attack 2 days after my 21st birthday (right in front of me). I know first hand how hard it is loose someone you love. My sympathy to you, Mandy and the rest of your family! |

Our thoughts and prayers are with you tony..... losing someone to such a cruel and painful disease can be tough, so I feel for you having to watch him in pain. Just know he's in a better place now and keep the happy thoughts and memories at hand, they will help you thru this time.
I lost an uncle and my grandfather to this horrible disease and what got me thru both was remembering their quirky smiles, the way they would smile at me or turn their faces to me in a silly way when they'd done something cocky to someone else. Keep those things in mind, it will help you get thru this and keep him alive in your heart. |
