From what I hear, this was true a few years ago especially, mostly because finding uncensored japanese porn was pretty tough.

With vcd's being pumped out with the ultra cheap cd burners.. uncensored, underground japanese porn is making a lot of headway.

And japanese hardcore uncensored movie sites make a killing too.

Like Hgmo.com and I believe Naughty has a site or two as well.

Yah, I know.... they make INSANE money. Currently over 15k members recurring at $69 per month. Retention is insane - almost 80%. Their advertisers have nice and low ratios - 1:300 for real.

Still getting tremendous signups and yet they are whining cuz the ratios have gone up from 1:200 to 1:300 or so.

Had to jump in on this thread, it made me laugh

HGMO are pretty much our biggest competitor in Asia. If you look at most of the largest "free sites" in Asia, you will find 99bb.com and HGMO competing with eachother for ad space.

Dont get me wrong, HGMO is a great site, but how can you justify a $60 a month Members fee. If the speed of downloads is super fast, which I hope it bloody is at that price, surely members would download all their content and bolt after the first month or two!! I would anyway
