getting your ibill reserve shortened

has anyone been able to talk ibill into shortening their ibill reserve to less than 6 months?

as this Visa stuff begins to settle down, i'm thinking about attempting it - i've heard that it is (was) possible.

I may be wrong, and it may not have bearing on this, but I thought that this period was standard for merchant accounts...

I'm not sure if you would get the reserve period shortened but if you have a low charge back rate then you should be able to negotiate a lower percentage...... especially if you drop into the conversation things like "well when i talked to ccbill"

Which brings me to another question..if you don't mind quiet..I was curious if since we are not staying with I-Bill and only have a few recurring members (who are switching very soon) if I will still get what is in my reserves if we dont pay the Visa fee. There will be no ongoing transactions, but if I don't get my reserves I will be pissed.

Just curious if anyone knows, if not I will contact I-Bill directly.

Andy

I'm not in this position but earlier on last month I asked this theoretical question to my rep and she said that the reserves would be paid out regardless.

Although my rep also contradicts herself regularly, I dont see how they could not payout on them as its money previously earnt prior to this shitfight.

It may pay to carefully read their T&C's, you never know what nasty stuff can lurk in there.
