The fee depends on where you are and on a coolness of the model.
1. In the country with $200 average montly per capita income you can definitelly pay less than in the country with $2000. But I have to stress, that the difference is not that big usually, because photographers from richer countries tend to visit those more poor countries and thus affect affect the models fees. 2. Best models usually know they are best and want more for softcore stuff and much more for hardcore (if they are willing to to it at all). However there are always some slutty girls who are willing to do hardcore wery cheap. They just like it. But again, they are not that great usually. The prices mentioned above look like average from what I know. And though personally I pay twice less, because I'm in Eastern Europe, I have essential expenses of different nature, that photographers in normal countries can't even imagine... So the end result is almost the same.

I dont personally shoot my own content, but if it was me.. I would tell ugly girls a lower rate, and if they dont buy it, maybe bump it up a bit... but definately don't start too low if the girl is a hottie.

This whole per hour thing isn't how things work in the nude modelling biz. Girls are hired by the half day or full day.
Half day is a few hours, full day 5 hours maybe more if they are cool chicks. You can't get a girl to show up for $200 for an hour and a half. Half day is minimum. Total amateurs you recruit out of the newspaper are going to cost you $200-300 US. These girls are easier to deal with cuz they're not pro's yet. These girls are also in short supply. Most are fugly though you do find gems sometimes. Girls who have modelled before, probably have an agency representing them, make more. I have several on Wanton Girls that make well over $100 an hour. Plus there is an agency fee to be paid. This is for standard solo girl stills work, including finger/toy insertion. Once you mention video to these semi-pro type girls, that's extra, in most cases a lot extra. They get paid $800 - $1500 a scene by video producers for video so when they are shooting for Net photographers who also want video they expect to be paid for that video work. You can fuck around behind an agent's back, cuz these girls don't give a shit all they want is money - BUT it's a small little world in L.A. and if you screw agents you jeopardize your ability to have a fresh supply of models to work with. People tell me that i'm wrong and to forget the agents. Easy for them to say, they don't need 200 models a year. That's why you will always see new models on Wanton Girls, we pay top dollar and play by all the rules. We have to - cuz we don't do any licensing we need a lot of exclusive custom clients which means we need lots of new models every month. I doubt there are many shooters who've shot as many models as we have. Problem i'm having is that there just aren't enough super cute girls. It's an expensive proposition. So when I tell you my prices on some great photography, you are getting a bargain. If you went out and did this yourself, opened your own studio your costs would be about the same as you would pay me with NO headaches. Actually until you got it down pat, you'd wind up spending more shooting for yourself.

$150 per shoot is what I pay. The shoot can be solo girl, girl/girl, girl/toy. It makes no difference: I don't pay any differentials. The more a girl does, the more work she is eligible to get. I don't do boy/girl. A shoot is a pretty well-organized affair and is usually over with in 2-2.5 hours and results in 300 photos.

I guess being in a smaller less competitive market it's better for you Unseen.
I'm assuming all these girls you shoot are recruited by you. If we recruit a girl right off the street she gets $200-250 for the same shoot you describe that you pay $150 for.

you're right Phoenix. There is a limitation on how much you can shoot in 2 or three hours. Girls are difficult and human. You can't bully them around and try to get as many pics as humanly possible in 3 hours, the work will suck and you will have a bad rep with models. So my photographer babies them.
And working with these 'pro' girls ain't easy. My photographer Brian has had to kick two of them out halfway through the shoot cuz they were stoned or just being totally uncooperative. And the uncooperative one was one I recruited on behalf of a client and made him shoot even though he told me she had a bad rep and he wanted to pass. Pretty girl though. These girls aren't 'pro'. Getting fucked on video doesn't make somebody a professional model. They're only professional in the sense of the word that they have worked for pay before.

You've good stuff there... Your guy has good eye and I like how he plays with the lights. Good stuff! In regards to how much to pay, this is basic and easy capitalism - Demand vs. Supply. Some ppl get away by paying $50/hr here in Miami, you have to offer no less than $100/hr for regular explicit nudes. I m having a hard time finding girls to shoot a b/g 1/2 hr scene for $300!  |

But for half hour for 300, if it didn't go against my morals, damn. That would pay for a tablet AND a scanner.

Thats one thing that would keep me out of a studio too.. I'm shy enough about cameras that if I got yelled at or something for not doing anything/something not right, I'd just break down and cry. LOL
That wouldn't make for a very good porn shoot, eh? Actually, I confess.. I would LOVE to try full clothed modelling just ONCE... but I don't think I'm pretty enough, or tall enough to get away with it. Just for the experience. Maybe a pro photographer could have some luck with me. LOL (I really want a good picture of me and they just don't exist?)
