No disrespect and I know the rules but he was not spamming it in anyway, he was listing it as a warning so we could try to get our content pulled from it. I would like to know what it is personally and think it should be listed so proper steps to protect our business can be taken...

The no posting other forums rule was to stop leaking webmaster traffic to other places. This is legitimate and business related and more to the point very helpful... but hey.. not my board. etc.. just it would suck if people couldn't be made aware of theft.

I know and understand the rules, thanks Ice. This was simply intended as a heads-up to a rip-off site I thought other producers would want to be aware of. It was brought to my attention by a fellow bondage shooter who spotted some of our content on there.

I really do understand and respect what you were trying to do. But rules are rules... Perhaps you could contact the producers via email or icq, which I have have done when it involves a forum which I won't post on here.

I gotta agree with Rev on this one. He didn't spam, at all - not even remotely close. There's a huge difference between simply posting a link to another forum, and spamming another forum.

The "GFY Rules" should be updated if simply linking to another forum is not allowed.

This seems like a case where the strict application of the rule is subverting the intent of the rule. If the "no linking to other forums" rule is intended to stop leaking webmaster traffic, then alerting webmasters to a pirate forum is not really a violation.

Perhaps an idea would be to have another forum section dedicated to piracy alerts. Maybe even make it restricted to verified webmasters to keep surfers out.

Someone tipped me to this particular forum a few weeks ago and I have found my content on it a few times. So, I appreciate knowing about forums like this one.

The domain is listed in the first post in the whois info, simply visit the site and goto the forum...

No disrespect intended, Ice...I appreciate your role as moderator here. And I agree that rules are rules.

Appreciated that you at least left a portion of the URL in the Whois part of the post, though.

MaDalton...your suggestion of paying them a little 'visit' is good.
