Who wants to match offers and get the business...

One was ordered last thursday... Over a week now!

Bullshit, it's not that fucking hard to slap a damn server together and load a os on it and plug some ips in.

Hire some temps if need be. Or get the damn owners working overtime.

We are talking 8 days for something that should take a day or 2.

If I order a machine from Theplanet I can have it online in less then 4 hours.

theplanet has preconfigured servers that they just sell you straight off the rack, they don't set them up on a case by case basis.

I don't know why would anyone host at WebAir.

We all see the regular threads how shitty they are, right? Last time I checked their dedicated server prices - they were as high as some of the best hosts in the industry. So why even consider them if they are worse than highly reputable hosts in every way?

I have been with webair over 4 years.. all mys sites, galleries everything.. never had a problem.. customer service 24/7 365.. They have even helped me install scripts and do anything I have ever needed .. I heart Webair !!

I dunno where I would go if I ditch Webair... I mean .. I literally give HELL to those support guys and even when I am just bored I make up hypothetical situations like .. what if my server gets DoS attacked 3 times a week or I ask them to help me set up my server so that it sends me a txt message to my cell every time it gets happy... Amazingly .. they put up with all my wacky antics and even answer some of the most far fetched questions.....

those guys r just the best...lol

I moved a media server last week that I had at AR over to www.techiemedia.com and they had me moved and set up and fully running in 24 hours. Also my move wasn't the eaisest as I had like 60 domains, and a boat load of scripts and crons running. All went smooth and fast.

They are probably backed up because either the servers you wanted were special and had to be ordered, or theirs just a shortage of boxes because of the alphared exodus. Every host I know got a shitload of new clients in the past couple of weeks.

I had to wait a week when I got a dedicated with them as well but it was VERY worth the wait. They get right on any problem I need fixed any day of the week. I have 5 servers with them for quite some time and they have always been top notch.

Webair is just slow. I remember when I first went with them, I needed a site moved and it took them over two weeks.

After tons of other issues with them (sites CONSTANTLY went down, I could never get a straight answer as to why out of a tech even if I sat on live support with them for hours... they'd just stop talking to me), switched to Naked and they managed to move ALL my sites within a day or so, as opposed to Webair taking weeks to do ONE.

They're not good.

I don't know much about that naked hosting I heard they were ok for small virtual hosting, but what you just said about webair i have heard over and over again and is why I never tried them. I tend to believe posts like yours and not the typical paid board whores and ass kissers.
