Actually I liked the sites... very nice amateurish feel... if I was looking for some "real" amateur type girl I'd join. Preview movie clips are a real teaser. Popups annoy me but it's nothing compare to what I send surfers to... lol

its so funny that im called an amateur. im new at this, but if you knew the numbers my site was doing i think that maybe the amateur name calling would be thrown out the door. Thanks for the input guys on letting me know what site you like the most. I hate pop ups as well, but thats what makes you money. without advertising its pretty tough to make a living.

I checked out Naughty at Home the other day, my conclusion... it sucks ass. Check it out guys, front page is full of traffic leaks. Those dumb ass little buttons leading to top lists. Sorry sweetheart, I'm not sending my traffic to your top list placements.

Then I click on the Enter link, and guess what, it opens a new window. What the fuck! Why? So you can more top list clicks from my traffic? Woohoo!

Aggghh - D - my wife and I run an amateur paysite - it does very nicely and no I am not going to compare numbers with you.

However, if you want to get more sign-ups don't distract the surfer with pop-ups as soon as he hits your page. If you want to trade traffic with top lists or sell the surfer on some other paysite then do it via an exit console - or even a blur.

Popping consoles in the surfer's face as soon as he arrives is extremely amateurish - and the meaning I apply to that is not the one that equates with an amateur model.

I've seen sites that send their surfers to 'pop-up hell' and I've seen sites that only throw up 2-3 windows at most.
(I've joined sites that kept that sh** to a minimum)

The sites that I've joined in the past, have limited their circlejerking to a minimum.

I realize that 'pop-ups' sell, etc, etc.... but there comes a time when they're not needed. The more pop-ups you create, the more you make your customer aware that if they're going to look for porn, they're going to need to purchase software that stops the popups from happening..hey..this would be a good product to cross sell!

Posts: 2,106	Aggghh - D - my wife and I run an amateur paysite - it does very nicely and no I am not going to compare numbers with you. However, if you want to get more sign-ups don't distract the surfer with pop-ups as soon as he hits your page. If you want to trade traffic with top lists or sell the surfer on some other paysite then do it via an exit console - or even a blur. Popping consoles in the surfer's face as soon as he arrives is extremely amateurish - and the meaning I apply to that is not the one that equates with an amateur model. __________________ Left intentionally blank ... just like my brain

(If I was a customer, I would have signed up...unless I was sent to popup hell first! ) I've seen sites that send their surfers to 'pop-up hell' and I've seen sites that only throw up 2-3 windows at most. (I've joined sites that kept that sh** to a minimum) The sites that I've joined in the past, have limited their circlejerking to a minimum. I realize that 'pop-ups' sell, etc, etc.... but there comes a time when they're not needed. The more pop-ups you create, the more you make your customer aware that if they're going to look for porn, they're going to need to purchase software that stops the popups from happening..hey..this would be a good product to cross sell!
