Palin has more executive experience than all other candidates running. Does this mean Palin should be trusted to make better decisions over all the other candidates?

Let's take a soldier who has experience in war on the ground level. Would his experience make him a better commander? Possibly, but I'd put more stock in a reasonable person who has studied the art of war, weaponry, military strategies & tactics, as well as the culture and history of the enemy to make better decisions about how to fight effectively even if he has little or no experience in actual battle. Maybe I'm wrong and most 'grunts' that would make better commanders.

Palins entire history in all politics is only a few years long. She couldn't possibly have more executive expereince. And she shouldn't be trusted as a VP or President. If she can, then any soccer mom pta leader is just as qualified.

No grunt I have ever met can lead anything, that's why they are grunts. McCain was an officer grunt. He isn't trained in war, battles, or anything related to war. At that, he placed almost bottom of his class.

You learn the art of war through History and I would bet Obama has for sure read more History than McCain.

So because he actually listed points that is your argument. sheesh

1) ACORN right wing bullshit http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/11/us...1acorn.html?em
2) Bill Aires www.factcheck.org
3) He's black. I think that puts him at risk as the president. Mccain is old and a cancer survivor.
4) He is for closing offshore corp tax loop holes This is bad how?
5) He received WAY too much money from banks and crooked companies, the same banks and companies that are now needing to be bailed out. McCain received just a fraction from them.
mccain received over 100k from a freddie director may 2008, keatings law firm gave mccain 50k for this campaign(keating cost tax payers over 2.5 billion).Mccain's chief of staff and his campaign manager received millions of dollars from fannie and freddie.
a fraction I think not, not as much but not a fraction and Johnny has some Obama doesnt have

Maybe you should look into that again.. Obamas plan is pretty similar to bush, he wasnt to relocate the troops not fully withdraw, read into it more. dont just watch his "CHANGE" commercials over and over again :1orglaugh

Wow, similar to Bush's.... Prob was hard for him to select one exit plan out of the last 200 presented to him.

And yes, Obama is for bringing Iraq troops home, and he does plan on moving 'some' troops to Afgan. Big difference, Afgan is an actual war front. And it's a war/effort most Americans actually support. That's change, change directions to a war that actually makes since and does what our real job should have been from day one rather than some side project that had nothing to do with 9/11, terror, wmd's, or anything related.

I have never met a normal school teacher that earns 100k-200k+ a year, that's the range for the average paid doctor in Canada. Not bad for a single doctor, not a business owner running a full on multi-doctor practice.

But to your question, I think good teachers should make as much as good doctors.

Fap 10-13-2008 12:10 AM

But seriously... who cares about his policies that he doesnt speak much of all i care about is..

That's Socialism - learn the difference.

Lots of teachers have more than 7 years of education. And even if they only have 5, if they are good, produce real results, they deserve to be paid as much as a good doctor.

Crazy to think these people are here help the people, but demand so much money. Makes lawsuits understandable when the Doctors actually don't care.

- This isn't a health plan, it's a opt in gov plan, exactly like they have now. So you can have insurance, and this, or not insurance and this only. IE: Opt in.

- Preventative care is what he is going for. IE: Far less waiting

- He is talking about more quick care stations too, like broken arms, colds, jobs for nurses. Again, we are talking about the already active Gov medical system that has these procedures.

- Right now people bring in family/kids because we have no preventative care and total crap quick care system. Basically, Doctors tell you to goto the ER for everything, so blame them.

- We are a free market or we are socialists. If you choose an insurance policy, your pills/prices may be higher. If you go with the socialist gov, they set the prices on what they will pay. Again, why the insurance they have is so good.

- Yours and my Tax dollars already pays for health care for the gov, military, poor, illegals, visitors, and vets. Why not include your family and kids, if you choose to use it?

great post

Bullshit.

Honest, responsible, and responsive government --now, that IS a human right.
