obama couldnt pass a security clearance to be in the FBI or to even be in secret service to protect the president. the candidate is just a tool for the party to get in power. obama hasnt even come up with a valid birth certificate to prove he was born in this country and that disqualifies him alone. |
things are so fucked up right now its beyond belief.

because you either,
a- dig the fisa bill or b- didn't hear about it |
Because half the stuff being said about him by McCain/Palin/Surrogates/supporters are ridiculously outrageous and verifiably false. eg. half the claims in this thread have been debunked a gazillion times already
Because McCain demonstrated his judgement by choosing Palin as a running mate. It's shortsighted and dangerous. While Obama is far from ideal, Palin is an utter trainwreck. Because Obama at least has the edge of being a symbolic gesture. No matter who wins, we're going to stay in the middle east. Taxes are going up no matter what eventually. Whoever gets in is going to be highly constrained because there is no money to fund projects they're proposing. |

Just shy away from calling him a Muslim or terrorist and you should be ok. Policy is and has always been fair game. |
So is tonight's Hannity special going to be anything like that "ground-breaking" report he did called "'Obama and Friends: The History of Radicalism?"
You know, the one that garnered such "high praise" from other media outlets, such as this article in the LA Times: Fox News' faux documentary sets new low Here's some nice excerpts from that article: Even by the low standards of this election's advocacy journalism, the program plumbed new depths -- relying on innuendo and guilt by association to paint the Illinois senator as a dupe of the shadowy forces of the left. Much of Hannity's report was based on interviews with half a dozen partisan commentators, whose main qualification seems to have been a previously expressed disdain for Obama. In reference to his claim that a "community organizer, in Barack Obama's case, was somebody that was in training for a radical overthrow of the government," Andrew Martin said this: "I do involve with the facts," he began, "but when the facts aren't all there, and the perpetrator has concealed all the facts and is basically refusing to testify, you are allowed to draw an adverse inference." It sounds to me as if he's saying: When you can't prove something, you're allowed to make stuff up." Gee, I hope tonight's program is as enlightening! :thumbsup |

really dont care for Obama.....or McCain....but rather McCain...IMO

My Friends (I hate how McCain calls everyone that),
I am all for change and really like many of the ideas that Obama has and obviously he is very intelligent and a good people manager as well. However, tax increases for people and businesses making over $250k some of the other tax hikes he has proposed will certainly effect me both personally and in business. This scares me. I do not plan to vote for the Maverick but am worried about what may happen with Obama in there as well. Can anyone offer any educated comforting words about his proposed tax policies? Thanks, Mitch |

Your current economic woes aren't because of taxes, and any suggestion that the tax system is even partially responsible for the problem economy is absurd. |

I guess thinking that makes it easy for you to dismiss another point of view. I would never vote for Obama because of the following: Obama agreed with the fact that every time taxes have been cut, it generates growth and increases revenue. Yet, he plans to raise taxes on the very same folks who run small & large businesses which create jobs and growth. Obamas tax plan will increase our cororate taxes by almost $100,000 a year. It is a simple survival vote for me. Obama will kill small business if he gets his tax plan passed. Keep taking from the so-called rich. After all, you can always go get a job from a poor person. |
