Has the US ever had a big conspiracy??? People talk about Kennedy, moon landing and 911 in terms of this but now I have several friends who think global warming is all a big conspiracy. Why is this? Has their ever been one proven or one that you know about?

The U.S. has actually attacked itself a few times, to start or have a reason to go into War. They started off as conspiracy theories, but later proved to be fact.

Do not get me wrong. I know Governments, particularly agencies typically have done some vile shit and continue to do so. I am just more of a realist and not a conspiracy theorist. I do not think in terms of conspiracy. Global warming takes like 2 minutes to get the facts. Tons of older people think it is false and being done just to spend money on research that is meaningless. I have no idea why they would think this but they do. So I thought maybe as you age you run across so many huge times your govt has lied to you that you believe they are always doing it.
