Majority Of New York Women Are Single, Study Finds

A New York Post study of the 2000 Census found that just over 300,000 women ages 35 to 44 have a traditional marriage, while nearly 400,000 are single. There are three times as many divorced women in the city as men. The survey also shows female enrollment up a hefty 60 percent at some schools. On the flip side: Single women are 10 times more likely to rent rather than pay off a mortgage, and they're three times less likely than men to earn more than $100,000 a year or more.

Shame the stats don't report how those 300k women are living. Living as married is in most cases the same thing as marriage itself. Most countries have a thing called a pax which is the same thing as marriage in terms of inheritance, tax and social living, but without the bullshit "safety net" of a marriage.
Marriage was established by the Church to bring a state of law to couples. Quote:
