Ecommerce Sites
Anyone have experience or know someone who has built an ecommerce site with a domain name they own and done fairly well with it? I'm looking for some case studies or experiences before I get into it. I have a name I am considering developing either drop shipping if possible, or handling inventory, etc.. myself if it's more profitable.
Any software, books, sites, or tips you can share?

NO clue if you are reffering to mainstream or to adult
If you are reffering to adult toys / dvd's I would test and see how I am doing using someone else as fullfilment and if It does well do everything on my own since you can seriously make 100% more that way. Mainstream is tricky, if you spend 1000 bucks in adult on traffic its easy to get 25,000 hits in mainstreak that may only buy you 100 hits. Unless you are 1000% unique with a mainstream concept its almost always money in the trash, and even then you need a HUGE marketing budget.
