When I was very young, 14?, I watched this film on "dialing for dollars" in Orlando.

Over the years I thought it was a "Outer limits" episode. I have Netflix now and now know what it really was. I feel that this is one of the best scifi films of all time.

I know blade runner is voted best but if one can vote decade by decade I think I might be right. Prior to that would have to be "the day the earth stood still"

don't get me started on Ray Harryhausen (spelling error)

The Day The Earth Stood Still is my fave and I am dreading the remake. My mom is a big old time sci fi fan and most of them would bore me but The Day The Earth Stood Still iss one I enjoyed because of the bit of politics thrown in.
