What is the most user friendly and currently stable ed. blog script?
Looking for a blog script, odds are word press is fine as long as it is a fairly stable build. Yet will listed to any suggestions if you provide a why etc.
I want to set up a blog. (true blog, lots of articles, possibly allow comments).

For a true blog, Wordpress is definitely #1.
If you want more, go with Drupal instead.

Forgot, what about mandatory plugins?
Figure I want to allow comments, will be using adsense, will not be for adult (no thumb galleries, etc), may contain some pictures or videos that I will eventually make. Also want it SE friendly. Ways to maintain and or check link trades?

There are multiple plugins for Adsense, so you're covered in that area. For SE purposes, you'll want to use SE-friendly links and this is accomplished by adjusting the Permalinks structure. You can also take on a sitemaps plugin that will create a standard XML sitemap and ping Google/Yahoo/Live when you add new posts. A plugin that handles the meta and title information will be good as well if you're not familiar with the appropriate and built-in Wordpress functions, as well as PHP in general. Not sure about checking link trades. You might want to look into an external script for that, and I'm sure that it won't be that hard to integrate it into your Wordpress template. Something from Cheapest Adult Scripts, or whatever that site is called will do nicely (unless you can find an open-source alternative). I'm working with the newest version of Wordpress, which if I'm not mistaken is 2.6.2. I like it very much, it runs smoothly (although it still maintains the traditional Wordpress bloat), and there are a lot of great features that you'll find handy. Hit me up if you need more info or help |

LOL sands, fuck I should just have you install again for me. When I spoke about commets I was talking about preventing as much spam as possible, maybe requiring registration etc.
