I stand out there and let them taste the candy for a few seconds for free. Then I tell them if they want to finish the candy they will have to pay 5 cents.

I didn't buy any candy coz halloween isn't usually celebrated here in OZ
so whaddaya know? a whole fucking herd of kids come to our door and I have nothing to give them... except cash Little shits - if they wanna go trick or treating they can move to the US instead of emptying my piggy bank

I went through 5 bags of candy last night. Sat outside and passed it out until I ran out...Decided to pass beers out to the bigger kids...figured that would keep them from torching the house if I ran out of candy...did not get any complaints from them, however! Another uneventful halloween (no vandalism, no kids hit by cars).
