but anyway.. NetPond is a great resource. Its not just a message board. They've got a lot of different services and maybe even spreading themselves a bit too thin with all of that. The nickel post idea is just an incentive. This board has incentives, a few others do too. Some cash, some in the form of prizes. Webmasters like it, its gimmicky and it apparently works.

Their unthreaded board is total spam. Spammers talking to each other. Used to be a good board about three years ago.
I couldn't ever deal with top niche. All the group hugging and stuff. Don't know if it or net surprise is still around. I like this board. It is kinda "gritty".
