Give me some ideas.. old fitness/health sites I own, monetizing.
I'm in a predicament here.. My first attempt at making money online was with fitness sites.. I spent a lot of time across 3 different sites.. I didn't really know anything about getting traffic, just more on the development end..
Well, when I realized I didn't know how to effectively get traffic / monetize them, I went onto other things.. So tonight for the hell of it, I decided to check their stats (after a long time).. To my amazement, one of them (healthygo.com) ranks very high for "online fitness training", page 2 for "fitness plans", etc.. and gets 70 uniques a day, consistently over the past year.. Stupid me doesn't even have a functioning order page. Another one which is somewhat related, gets 50 unique visitors.. Another one gets 50 as well... Not a *ton* of traffic but I'm not doing anything to monetize any of them.. the biggest benefit they have, is they're older established domains with some established backlinks, which means any future SEO I do on them will be much easier. So my question is, what would you suggest doing to monetize them? I think the whole online fitness training route is not a good route, from what I learned... |

there is a contradiction in your story

Just slap some AdSense blocks on it.
I'd recommend a 336x280 block on the top left of the articles (blended in with the text) and a 728x90 leaderboard across the bottom at the end of the article. |
