Unless vB made some drastic changes, that's not possible. You can however look for a vB hack that does that.

Also, you might want to install some kind of spam protection.

yes. the latest version has a banhammer.

select one post to delete, in the delete dialog box, select "delete all from user" and check "ban user"

alternativly, if you do not have the newest one, view the user's profile page, select "view all posts by user" select the top checkbox, and hit delete.

Prune is vbullitin's was of deleting things with criteria. I've told their developers it should be renamed from pruned to purged.

prune does things like "delete all users with 0 posts" but can do more complex things like "delete all users with less then 5 posts that joined before 2006 that have not signed in in 3 months"

it also does threads, posts and forums.

Ok, so I guess this 1 spammer has over 1000 threads alone, I'm going thru deleting 25 at a time, still very slow but tiny bit quicker I guess, if anymore suggestions how to mass delete certain user threads please let me/us know

Look over in the vbulletin forums, there's a hack I used before to sort that issue. Don't waste your time deleting 25 at a time.

:p I'm pretty sure here was an option to list all of them instead of 25 at a time. which version vB are you running?

Hmmm, my vers of vbull is about 2 years old and I can delete a user and all his posts using the control panel... what are we missing?

Users -> Search for Users -> enter Username -> Exact Match
drop down: Quick User Links [Delete User]
"If you want to prune all the user's messages first, please click here" - click on that and the msgs are gone, then you can continue to delete the user if you wish...

Threads/posts > Prune > Prune by Username
That's it

Dude, it's super easy. Just look the username up, select "delete user" and it will also give you an option to delete all the user's posts as well, including any threads they've started.
