Argh BofA
So I watch my accounts like a hawk. Anyway when the bank was down the other day they cleared some transactions that overdrafted one of my other checking accounts. I always monitor it but I couldn't that day.
Anyway I called the bank and they said too bad so sad, no fee reversal you could have called us to transfer, gone to bank (ya right lines were insane). I said alright no problem I guess I'll do what everyone else is doing and pull out and run on cash. Their response: "No problem is there anything else I can do for you today" Don't lapse don't slip, these banks are on a money grab now. |

I don't get it, you wrote a check or did some transactions on the account which was going to put you in the red and you're mad that you have to pay an overdraft fee?? I don't see what BoA did wrong here?

if you go to the branch you established your account at , and have not had an overdraft fee in the last 12 months, they will glady refund that charge.

you should have called the BofA
1800 number, using the automated system check your current balance and any pending transactions.. then transfer to a live person and transfer your $$ from one account to the next. problem solved ass covered. took about 5mins. if they cleared transactions that weren't pending but cleared overnight you wouldn't have seen them in online banking anyway. so why are you bitching? sounds like a case of the lazy's to me. |
