Namecheap and Epassporte

I just tried registering a domain with them and got denied 3 times and account locked. Anyone else buy there with epass? And why don't they have a contact phone number. That worries me.

if you have an older namecheap acct, it shouldnt be a problem..

I used my virtual account and just registered the namecheap account. I might have to stick with godaddy. Never had any problems with them but namecheap has free whois guard.

i dont use whois guard anymore anyway..

if you want privacy just use a pre paid card, fake whois except for a throwaway cell phone number... the reg will call you if someone complains...

just kidding... pay the private whois fee....

i wasnt kidding....

I'm not sure about the epass issue you had but why in gods name would you do any biz especially buy a product from any company that doesnt even have a working phone number? That's just setting yourself up for future fuckings if you ask me.

I was hoping the whois privacy would stop me from getting post card type mailings with shit like "ifuckedyoursluttymother.com renew with our registrar now" on the front for people to see.
