FireFox Issue - Ever Had It?

I've noticed the last few days that when I click a link in my outlook or any of my online email accts, Firefox really takes a long time to open up the links. Way longer than usual. Anybod had this issue and found a fix for it? I googled the issue and saw many folks talking about it but no fixes.

How is that a problem specific to Chrome?

Also, about the issue... I've got 4gb of RAM and dual cores. Still notice the same issue. So, I've got into the habit of copying the urls from outlook and just pasting directly into the browser's address bar.

Yeah... it sounds like an add-on problem. Do as Tical said. Disable all, and reinstall one by one.

Well, that didn't work. I uninstalled all the adds ons and it's still lagging way behind when I click a link. When Firefox is open and I click a link on a page - it's fine. But when I click a link in Outlook, it takes forever for Firefox to open up....weird!!!

Yeah considering you don't have anything BUT the browser, no addons, no extensions, no nothing.... well it's kinda obvious why...

I have the same issue with FF just for the last day or so on my iMac. Have not noticed on a PC though. I have no add-ons so it is not add-on related. Sometimes takes 30 seconds to open a page.

Maybe Chrome does something sneaky to make Firefox slower, so you keep using Chrome... just a thought.

It's working perfectly for you NOW....But once FF decides to break on your computer, THAT'S IT!....Now maybe if I did a system reformat, I could download it again but for now, it's over...
