FOREX stats for the week as promised

i still may get into another trade or two if things line up like i think they are going to..

anyway, heres my results for the week. this is pretty typical for me..

for those that dont know forex, the results may seem pretty easy, but i can tell you this was a rough week in terms of getting stuck in a few trades that kept me up for 18 hours plus a couple nights...

so you are only buying in lots of $100 to $200 a trade am I reading that right? I've never messed with Forex stuff, so I'm not quite sure how that chart reads.

i wish... i have put thousands of hours into learning this and getting the right software developed to help me make the right decisions..

after a year of trading, i finally feel comfortable enough to not worry about being $1000 or $2000 down in a trade...

i tried that strategy my first month of trading... worked great...

the second month, i lost all my profits and a good portion of my starting balance..

now i trade within my means and never put myself in a situation of getting margin called..

i also make sure i have plenty to cost average down and snipe...

it was no picnic for me.. i can give you a bit of advice though... dont over learn..

you can put yourself in a position of information overload..

just try to learn enough and test test test your strategy...

babypips.com is a great place to learn and there is a lot of free systems that traders use that you can experiment with...

application/software is not the same as trading platform...

i use modified signal application that i had written for metatrader.

to execute the trades, i use forex.com which does not support metatrader.

i use fxcm.com which does not support metatrader.

i use alpari-us.com which does support metatrader...

i use my metatrader overlay to get signals and then execute them using the above trading platforms..

it depends on how much you are trying to gain on a daily basis.

the more money you have, the bigger trades you can execute without putting your money at risk.

i only enter a trade with a small % of my total account value...

i have plenty of room to cost average down without risking getting margin called..

i make less than i could if i was willing to risk more of my account value, but i would rather make less and be able to handle a large swing against me..

With 50k with our Forex managed accounts you could probably having that almost doubled if you joined us 2 months ago at Sep 1.

Since October we are up by 54.3% ! Great results - Thanks to all the Credit Crisis we can achieve this kind of results.

Anyway, our average profit / month is around the 20% . so thats a good money if you invest 50k for example.

Hey dude been awhile, que passa?

Just curious but what % do you need to have behind the contract's worth? I haven't dabbled in Forex at all and who knos if I ever will, but I'm assuming you didn't need say 100,000 * price in your account balance to make that purchase/trade right ?

ie. for your first transaction in your screenshot, I get 100,000/109.93 = 910, so (109.94-109.93) * 910 = $9.10 (your profit) - but how much of your account money was used to get that 100,000 lots?

EDIT: I guess an easier way to ask is just how much does each lot cost? I think I overcomplicated it above =)

Best buy these days are Hedge Funds, and its such a slam dunk you do not even have to stay awak all day and night just to earn 2% of your investment but earn in most cases over 70% to 866% ( that 866% earnings was achieved by a guy recently that bet against the Real Estate Market just 1 year ago in Hedgefunds. )your investment over the course of 6 months to 1 year.

Hedgefunds for the win.

Hedgefunds? you need to explore more into Forex before you say so...
Forex is not like a betting where you think it stands for. if you are experience enough, you can make a killing with Forex.

Statments are VERY LARGE! we have been able to provide such a return in a very small period of time because the credit crisis, we don't say we will be doing 40-50%/month every month... actually we usually doing around the 20%/Month average, and thats high also. you get from your bank probably 4%/Year, so here with us 20%/Month is a lot I think.

I do have proof but its from our Private account transactions, so if you are a serious Investor who is interested [ or anyone else in this forum ] you can chat online with me and I will email you our statement from September 1 to Oct 15!

Thanks :-)
