WTF guys? Jon asked to have access to my server, and that's against my personnal rules....... So, I told him that he maybe could get in touch with Zorgman to see if he could get access to the script. (I believed it would not have been an issue) :( This thread turned into a real major circus.......... for not much! I used to stay away from GFY when I was a newbie, because I hated drama........ I've been working all my life trying to solve problems........ I would not want to have to deal with drama again in this secondary career....... I'm pretty clueless in regard to scripts, web design and many more things........ I just didn't knew I could just send the files to Jon....I believed it would have been better for him to ask Zorgman.......my wrong? Jon, it was not a secret to who I was in the first place............. NOW WHAT? :( |

I think the best option is for you to send Jon the file if you wanted his services.
Of couse he can't install it unless it's on your domain already and you have already said you don't allow that. Personal after this thread I would do business with Jon, but that's just me. I sell the script, what you do after purchasing the software is up to you. |

To me anyone who would openly post ICQ logs with such ease is risky. It's kind of an "unwritten" rule in adult that what is said is ICQ is meant to stay there. It's the same as copy and pasting what someone says in e mail, you just don't do it.
I'd never openly speak with someone on ICQ that would post logs with ease as I see it to be a liability. |

Giving away stock templates isn't really that big of a deal; it's not like your giving away proprietary information unless you've done something really stupid like overcoding in the display logic. If some guy who I don't know came on my icq and tell me he has a client who he can't say who it is and he needs a free copy of my $250 script I would probally kinda react the same even so zorgman probally does get requests like this from scammers daily..

ro8in, I get them all the time. Some people think they are so big they don't need to pay OR they want it now and if it makes money then they will pay off the script slowly. Some people are just sooo silly.
But I have alot of excellent clients that understand that this is my business and my script is my income. |
