Mmm, Tattoos... sweet sweet sleeves, oh how I wish I had the money... :Oh crap

No offence, hey that Tat of that guy with 2 earrings and that lop sided tatoo looks really great. It really suits gay people like him, (two earrings means gay right?).

Nah man that tat is what girls always get around there lowerback so when they where low riders and small tops it shows off there tatoo. You dont' want a girly tatoo.

Go for piercings instead of Tatoos, at least when you get sick of them you can take them out. My Bro used to have 6 earrings, eyebrowe ring, nipple ring and tougne stud, now he just has a tounge stud, he said it used to suit him but he grew out of it.

I'd suggest you not get anything unless you've really thought about what its going to look like in 10 years and what you'll be like then. (I know its hard to think that far in front)

All that said, I LOVE george Clounys "Out of sight" Arm tatto. Now that kicks ass and is a hell of a statement.

Labret, you should note that I said "most people" in my post above. I think even you would agree that a lot of people get a tattoo just because its the "cool" thing to do and they believe it will bring praise from their peers. Thus making them a better person.

Other people like yourself might have more meaningful reasons for getting one, and I can respect that.

Maybe we should tattoo a brown starfish on Mr. Bear's nose ???

I got a tribal dragon.... it symbolizes the strugle between good and evil...

It covers bottom of my right arm & I had it made when my popz died!

took 3 hours to do and you can only get this done 2 places worldwide cuz the artist owning the pic only does his own creations and wont let any other copy his work!

the pain is just a part of the package :thumbsup

And make sure they NEVER reuse needles....watch him/her do a tattoo and make sure they throw the needle into a biohazard container afterwards

Yes, i have found a very good place in town here where many people i know have been. Very good rep. I just need to pick the right tattoo now... and out of every tattoo i have ever seen, i would only want to live with a nice tribal tat

Thats my ass with the little sting ray and initals :) Yeah their girly, but I love'em.They have meaning so it's all good.
Kelly's the chest, arm and back in the pics :)

p.s It hurt like a mf when I got mine and their just tiny. I swear I almost fainted :1orglaugh I hate needles but I wanted it done so bad.
I'm thinking of getting one on my ankle but not too sure. Every girl has one there so ...dunno. I think it's kinda sexy though, providing it's not a rose or unicorn :1orglaugh
I was thinking getting my kids foot prints (little ones) but not too sure yet.

I thought about my tat for 10 years before I finally got one (about 3 months ago). I designed my own because I wanted something extremely original. Took almost 5 hours to get done.

Does it hurt? Yes...but it's a "rite of passage" sort of pain. I actually liked it :Graucho

Don't have a pic of it yet, but maybe tonite I'll shoot it and put it up...

And yes...it IS addictive. I've already designed my next one :thumbsup

Thanks this thread inspired me to get another Tat to my collection.
I am addicted to Maori tattoos called Ta Moko or Kirituhi.

Ta Moko is the cultural tattoo art and each tattoo tells parts of
your life story....your ancestors, tribe, important events, etc, etc
If you consider getting a Ta Moko you should contact a Maori
artist.....give him a shitload of information and they will design
a tattoo specialy made for you.

Never just copy a Ta Moko people they take it as an offense of
their culture and people who can read them will know it's not
yours.

I chose Kirituhi style since this style is similar but not linked to
your genialogy. As I am a white European it won't be considered
an offense to their native culture etc, etc... besided that real
Ta Moko is carved and not electrical applicated this is more easy
to get done.....(unless you fly to New Zealand).

http://www.tamoko.org.nz/ here they have links to Maori artist
and you get request a personal design.....I just ordered a design
by Turumakina Duleyz as soon as I have it I will post pics.
I'm getting a design for my full left arm.....shoulder to elbow and
sleeve.

If you like tribal and want something unique you should check it
out. It's awesome art and a very interesting culture

DynaMite :thumbsup
