In today's business climate we seem to be focusing mainly on "making the sale" and initially getting as many dollars as we can out of a customer. This direct sales philosophy works fine in some industries where you generally only have one shot at "making the sale" but I do not feel that is the best way to build a business in this industry.

There is an old saying that goes "The best surprise is no surprise" and this is the way I think that most of our customers feel when it comes to spending money with an adult website. My questions are:

"Have companies in the adult industry become more focused on a one time direct sale or do companies try their best to keep their existing customers?"

"What have you done, are you doing or can you do to say "THANK YOU to your customer?"

Here's a novel IDEA... Give them more than they EXPECT!

So now you're thinking "How can I do that"? Well I don't have all the answers but I do know that you have many opportunities to satisfy your customer with every click that they make and here is an IDEA for you.

I think paysite owners need to work on giving the surfer what they EXPECT first..

Good idea. I'm going to be doing something similar with Eva stuck at home for three months, but able to type. LOL

For the record;

If this industry had focussed more on keeping the surfer on the Internet BUYING porn it would not be where it is today. Too many thought the surfer was some passer by buying on impulse and not a regular consumer.
