So yesterday we got to watch softball game where they had to end it with 7:0 score, today we’re doing the same..
Fuck Brasil-Argentina soccer game.. WE don’t need to see that…
fuck every other event because there aren’t any Americans in it. Nooo, lets replay track and field competition where we are in the finals yet manage to lose to potheads from Jamaica.
What the fuck happened to women’s tennis or sailing where Danish (was it Danish ?) who won gold medal on Croatian boat… Nooo, fuck nooo. WE don’t need to know that!

Totally. I've been enjoying the CBC coverage but even that is ignoring some pretty cool events. I saw highlights of table tennis that were (I shit you not) Unfuckingreal.

I thought the coverage of the German powerlifter winning gold with an amazing lift and holding the photo of his young wife that had passed away was really emotional

The Russian pole vaulter getting the women's world record after two fails was great tv too, especially her interview in English.

I tell you what. I don’t speak much Spanish (and I live in Texas) but they did great job showing the Olympics. Other than that I’ve been going to Justin.tv to watch it..

My big complaint is figuring out what is what on what channel. The listings just show summer olympics or list 1 event in description. Yet I have like 20 channels covering shit. I already know damn better than to set the DVR to record the olympics, I think that may actually void my warranty.

I don't know what you want them to do. It's about ratings. No one in the U.S. cares about soccer. They are just showing what people want to see.

I was having cold war flashbacks when the NBC announcers were making fun of the African uniforms during the Parade of Nations. I would have fired them on the spot, but obviously I'm not in charge (like I should be!)

Apparently every goddamn minute of the Olympics is being streamed live on NBC's website, so you don't have to miss a thing. But I'm not on my computer during those hours.

I did kind of think it was dumb for Bolt to celebrate early. He could have completely smashed the world record to a point it wouldn't be broken for a long time.

You cant stream every minute, unless there are multiple streams. I was in 2 winter Olympics myself.. And I couldn’t follow crap.
Will be in my third in Vancouver.
