Issues With Go Daddy

I have over 300 domains with GoDaddy. When I registered them, all had FREE privacy. Now, I am being charged $9.95 (domain) + $9.95 (privacy) per each renewal.
I know that I can get online coupons for $6.95 renewal, but, how do I avoid paying extra for privacy?

Transfer them all to someone like Moniker. I am sure you could get a very good price, even with privacy.

Why have privacy? You know some have been online non-private with real info for a dozen years and never been bothered by their name and address being visible.

But heck, if you need it, then it is what it is I guess. $3000 + $3000 seems excessive. But I'm sure each domain earns more than $10 + $10 a year, so just figured it in and write it off.

That right there is the first problem you should address.

Then deal with the privacy issue.

EVERY company has a default charge for renewal for privacy, even Namecheap... and someone mentioned Moniker?? last I checked they were even more expensive (correct me if that has changed0

Namecheap is the best deal overall, their privacy renewals are 2.88 but in bulk they go down to 1.78 each (they are still free privacy with new registrations or transfers)

Godaddy renewals are expensive normally, but there is a coupon code that is working now that will give you privacy renewals for 3.99 (coupon code gdp0733a)

I can pretty confidently say that you'll pay around half of what you're paying godaddy if you speak to the right person at moniker. With that many domains you'll get a nice discount.

Nove to NameCheap.com and you'll be happier and managing domains is much easier since you don't have that much crap as on GoDaddy.com

If you want to stay with godaddy contact your account manager and they will tell you if they can help you out or not.

Moniker is where you should keep your domain portfolio, for numerous reasons.

Then, address the WhoIs privacy issue.

Isn't that below the ICANN wholesale rate? How do they profit?
