Not a Dodgers fan... so here's hoping he does as well as Jason Schmidt and Andruw Jones

Should make for some all-time blooper highlights with Manny in the LA outfield.

Joe Torre's job did not get any easier.

Have fun with him in LA and watch out for those toilets lol. I've read multiple times the dude doesn't use tp and rather uses rags etc and tries to flush that stuff down. Boston had to always unclog his shit!

I just bought 4 tickets to 2 different games near the Left Field Side.. Can't wait.. Manny is and has been one of my favorite players.. He just likes to have fun, and is a great offensive player.

Another lame move by the Dodger front office if you ask me. The guy is past his prime, hasn't played more than 130+ games in 3 years. The move would be great if they could make it to the world series but I dont think they can, they have too many other holes to plug.

Dodgers are just notorious for picking up players passed their prime and overpaying them, ie, Jason Schmidt, Kevin Brown, Andruw Jones, to name a few.

While I agree on the picking up old players, they arent paying Manny anything so they definitely arent over paying him. Plus its not like his skills are greatly deminishing like the others you mentioned. He is the best bat the dodgers have had in a while and was greatly needed. There was a log jam at 3B anyways.

Great pickup when it comes to the bat, now we'll see if he really has any D.

Yeah I hear ya but what's the point..he's gonna be a free agent at the end of this season and the Dodgers wont likely resign him. So it's basically only for the next 2-3 months depending how far they go, which I don't think they'll get passed any of the other playoff teams.

I know what you are saying. I guess being a Dodger fan all we ever hear about it our prospects and how good our farm system is. I am glad they finally traded one of those "great" prospects (he hasnt done shit in the pros when given the chance) for a proven bat. Do I think it makes us world series winners, No, but it gives us a better chance to get in the playoffs and in the NL anything can happen look at the Rockies last year.

They needed a big bat.

I was a Saturday's game vs the Nationals their offense was horrible.

It am hoping the win the division so they can get swept the Cubs, and I can watch it live out here in LA.
