What does it mean that the card has been blocked? Was it blocked by CCBill, the cardholder or the card issuer?

Steffi this is easily explained.

If you refund someone using CCBill's online system you have to choose if you allow this person to ever sign up for your sites again or not. If he comes again to subscribe he gets this email.

He can use the card on other sites but not on the ones under your main account.

Good going CCbill.I just wish we could find out who it was. If they screwed them they will screw me. I wish you would block them from all CCbill sites.

It would be really nice if they would open that up to all webmasters, so if I want to optin to the pool of blocked cards that everyone else has placed on blocked status that I could That way we could get rid of the folks that are getting refunds or chargebacks all the time. Just in case ccbill is listening it would be nice to say block any card that has been put on block by more than x number of sites, that way I could say I want anyone that has been blocked by 2 or more sites to be denied to my sites also, if they have been blocked by 2 sites then chances are they are bad news anyway.

hardcorehosting,

I will pass that on. You will find that CCBill will always listen to their customers suggestions. Before our reports came out last May, i posted a thread with suggestions on what webmasters want, and most of those were implemented.

send me an email with any future ones
