I do.

I use them for subtitles and for post thumbnails. Also to deem what's NSFW on a new blog.

ya i been using them for posts, also to make it easier to embed.

I was thinking to use them to assign a background on a per post basis. A style sheet inside the loop with the custom field in the background-image. Not very good for mark up or compliant but makes for a pretty cool effect.

yes i use them for thumbs on my front pages....since wordpress now automatically generates a thumb in the size i want...then i use a thumb custom field with the thumb url
