i wanted the opinions of some of you guys on my site if you've got a free sec, and arent too busy, i posted this last night: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...threadid=84033 i posted it in the traffic trading forum instead of this one, i got some good emails but i wanted to see if any of you guys that post to this section could give me any advice or would be interested at all.

i think everyone else was able to get in alright. it's case sensitive, maybe you tried it in all caps:

it's:
username: goldmember
password: goldmember

an unlimited number of people can be in under the same account name at the same time so i dont think you should have any problems in those respects, just watch for the case sensitivity and you should be let right in...

Copy and paste doesn't work on alot of the password boxes.

i think maybe the key phrase is "been out drinking"... hahaha

i've never had a single problem with the username/password, and i've given everyone goldmember and goldmember to use as a test account for as long as i can remember.

could someone else just please verify that it works

1) What are you doing to make sure the people uploading pics have the right to distribute them?

2) What are you doing as far as Title 18 USC §2257 records. Since you're not buying them from an established supplier, at what point do you collect this info from the submitters?

hi unseen,

1) if you login (you can use the goldmember login mentioned in the above posts) in the my account area of all users you'll see a section called "upload pictures to rhino" located near the bottom left, when user's go to that section they have the ability to upload content directly to our server. all we can do really is take the word of the user that the content is good and not in any violation of copyright or things of that nature. i suppose a link to a well worded TOS on the submission page would be a good recommendation and we're putting one up.

2) we dont put any adult/nudity content on rhino currently (in the way of pictures) and we discard all nude photos submitted by users, as if we showed user submitted adult content we wouldnt really have any good way of knowing if the pictures were 'of age'.

the original goal of the user submissions was for guy users to have the ability to submit pictures of their girlfriends and see how popular they were on the site compared to all the other pictures. however, it's pretty funny to see the number of pam anderson or carmen electra submissions we get with descriptions that read "my girlfriend at the beach" or "really my girlfriend, i'm not in the picture because i'm taking the picture" and things like that

1) Well, I'm not sure you can get off the hook by taking other people's word or with a TOS.

2) You don't seem aware that to have any CP on your computer is a felony, even if you didn't put it there and even if you delete it right away. It's what's called a "strict liability" offense.

As I understand it, if you want to go the "we are just a wire...we don't filter anything...that responsibility belongs to the submitters" the way, for example, the phone company isn't responsible for what travels over their wires, then you must NEVER intervene, must never review, must never discard.

So, your two points are in conflict with each other, you can't hide behind 1) if you do 2).

Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
