Overture is really pissing me off!

Jesus H. Christ! They keep declining my listings. First they decline listings saying I lack an "ADULT URL DISCLAIMER" that I clearly have on the front page and they APPROVED several listings earlier while I had that same disclaimer on that page.

Then I get "Free Sex Story" declined due to T/D: Relevance. Gee, I'm writing and publishing adult sex stories on my free site... Here are some of the links I sent as proof:

http://www.qcsex.com/midshipman/index.html
http://www.qcsex.com/bbslei/index.html
http://www.qcsex.com/patches/index.htm
http://www.qcsex.com/subway/index.html
http://www.qcsex.com/lollipop/index.html

Do they even look at the site? Or are they just declining my listings to get me to spend more money or miss my $20/month minimum spend? Fuck!

Join the club... your not special, every Overture adult webmaster struggles to get listed. Try Findwhat, they're a lot easier on their policies.

hit me up ... we cater to adult webmasters, have adult traffic, and have our own disclaimer page for first-time surfers.

We've had the same problem with them. We finally had to ask for a refund of our balance, cause they wouldn't accept any listing we tried. These are paid listings.. what the hell are they offering that for if they don't want people to do it??

All of ours were declined for 'description'.. so I asked them what do I need to change.. they wrote back 'our mistake, we just need a user/pass to the site'. Fine, sent them that, then resubmitted the listings and they all got declined again for 'description'. Whatever.. fuckers.. don't have time to waste on that crap....

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Time to move on.

I figured I would start out with PPC, then as I learned to convert I could graduate to blind link and exit traffic. When I get really good at converting, I'll start buying Chinese hitbot traffic.

I went through the same and finally have ALL my sites accepted the way i wanted doing this:

- try to find sites similar to yours listed under the same keywords you want to bid. If there are... write an email to [email protected] telling that either they list your site or they remove all the listings (and copy all the urls)

- if they still refuse write an email to editorialservices@ with CC to clientservices@ telling that you will fill a formal complaint with the FTC...

Fuck it, i had mines listed in the same day i did this. On the other hand i spend more than $4K/mo. with them.

It sounds like I should be grateful for the 18 listings I did get... Well, I prolly will hit my $20 anyway this month - I'm only 7 off... I still am trying to figure out why I got 18 listings just fine, then I get 15 reject after that for "Adult URL Disclaimer", like I suddenly don't have a disclaimer anymore? It's still there...

Heh,

They asked for a login/pass to the members area of one of my paysites so they could 'review' it, and 3 days later we got an email from one of the employees disallowing our listing, because on the 42nd page of the 'stories', there was a story called

'16 with a D cup'

and they did "not prohibit anything to do with underage pornography"

Overture would have paid this guy to spend 8 hours a day whacking off to our members area.. unbelievable. We sent them back an email telling them to get fucked, and to give the money in our account to a corresponding charity.
