I am having the same problem with MSN on my husband's computer. Keeps telling me it can't be installed on this computer and just stops..... I have disabled the firewall, virus scanner and everything to install it and nothing works....... and he uses his MSN to talk to his family out of town and the old version shuts down at random. just goes offline. It's very frustrating.

you need to upgrade to vista
for all we know Microsoft could have fucked up SP3 on purpose so that people get fed up with it and just upgrade to Vista and generate more money to them. call me crazy but seems to be a lot of problems with SP3 all of a sudden to what was before a very solid operating system.

No I don't have Vista on the computer I have it on, I do one one of them, but not this one. For basic purposes, the OS is the same on both of them, just short of the same systems..... so that isn't it. I don't THINK SP3 was installed on that computer, but will check and see. I know it isn't on mine that I am using and it loaded onto this one just fine.
