please enlighten me what Chapter 11 BANCRUPCY proceeding is?
What don't you understand, Bancrupcy and filling for Bancrupcy protection is 2 diferent things....

When a company is in finacial difficulties, they are alowed to go to court, and try to proove to the court that they can turn things around and be able to pay their creditors. If the court agrees they will receive a time frame to turn things around, and the court will give them a period of time to do it. After that they will return to court at the specified date, and if the company is starting to show some changes for the better, the court will allow them more time. Until they are financily stable again.

So this Chapter 11 Bancrupcy thing is just a Paper that says to the creditors to hold on, so they don't go their and start repocessing some stuff.

I cant or never say that Zionism should not exist, anyone is free to be a nationalist. I just dont agree with the entire premise behind the existence of Israel.

The entire claim to the land is a 3000 year old story written by a bunch of maniacs, and 3000 years later they sit around and whine about persecution while their own history is nothing but the decimation of other cultures. They complain about terrorism yet their entire nation came about as a result of terrorism. Hypocrites and full of shit.

The early Israelits made the Nazis look like amateurs.

Have at it.

Holding a discussion of substance on GFY?
That is rather funny, I gave up a while back as the only responses you will receive is responses with vulgar wording.

But good luck.

I said two points

(and by the way, I said I have read SOME Nietzsche)

How much do you have to read something in order to be able to start talking about that something? I bet I have read 3 or 4 books of Nietzsche which is probably more than 99.9% of the population

Anyways , the 2 points

1. Nietzsche thought he is superior to other people but had hard time facing the reality
2. Nietzsche has't contributed anything to the contemporary philosophy which is taught in most universities -> So he's not much of a PHILOSOPHER

Nietzsche is good for super egoitist people

Mika,

You should read and gather as much information as possible about a subject and if you feel it will be sufficient to defend your point in a discussion, than you are set. (ofcourse that does not guarantee someone else will not have more knowledge about the subject discussed....)

I just ordered Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time".
Anyone read it?

also, i've got to say - that majority of our argument was that you were not neccesarily comparing them. after i showed that you were actuallycomparing the two (pretty obvious from the start) - you then question why i haven't refuted why they are (or are not) similar.

you must see this - i hope.

along with the complete admission that you know nothing of Nietzsche at all.

not anyway to argue imo.

No. Honestly, I haven't read much Nietzze. I read some during my teens, read something that I thought was cool, back then.
clearly does not project a grasp of Nietzsche philosophy.

No. I listed them in the same sentence. That wasn't meant to compare the two.

The same way I say "quiet, Serge, and Labret post at GFY"

We can still discuss about quiet's posts individually. My intention was not the comparison between quíet, Serge and Labret, but rather the FACT that they do post there, which could lead to a more enlightening discussion

But to you it seems, that anytime two persons are mentioned in the same sentence, they become affiliated with each other and you couldn't talk about one without the other.

I cannot see why my statement made it impossible to talk about Nietzsche without talking about Hitler, too

Gotta love these late edits.

Anyway, I told you in one of the posts that I would be enlightened if you could correct me but you seem to be more interested in showing your cleverness and wit than correcting me, so we are both wasting our time

If you know nothing of Neitzsche (which is very obvious) don't debate Nietzsche.

Nietzsche has nothing to do with Hitler. they never met. Nietzsche hated the nazis. his sister took his writings and twisted them. Nietzsche was against anti-semitism. the more you post, the more stupid you look.

"It is an irony of history that Nietzsche's outspoken hatred of racism in genral, and anti-Semitism in particular, should have been so effectively suppressed by his greatest proponents - the Nazis."

- Laurence Gane and Kitty Chan.

good night.

you yap on and on. so, are you now admitting that you were comparing Hitler and Nietzsche. Yes or no.

we spent most of this thread debating this point.

and it seems i've won. pretty clear. yes or no?

simple question. yes or no?

or would you rather keep avoiding it? especially when you've already said you weren't comparing them. then later admitted you were.

How is Hitler like Nietzsche? I can see how some aspects of national socialism would be able to accommodate some of what Nietzsche was trying to get across with will to power and overmen etc, but I think anyone could incorporate his ideas into any number of other belief systems.

Now we should compare Wagner to Hitler cause Hitler loved him.

You gotta love it when people get so provoked as you do. I knew from the beginning that connecting Hitler to Nietzsche is a common misconception. I knew that you like Nietzsche. What I didn't know was, whether you want to rather prove your cleverness and wit than correct people with their misconceptions. Now I got an answer to that question

Take it easy, try to get objective, browse back a page and see me saying:

"I hear you and I hold my point that both Hitler and Nietzsche probably considered themselves superior to other people but had hard time facing the reality..

This was the meaning of my original post. I would be enlightened if you can correct me, since that could change my beliefs about Hitler and Nietzsche. "

i don't think i'm provoked. this is gfy. you've lost each argument (if you can call them that) you put forth.

and you ignore most of my posts, only picking up on a few - but reading this, i understand you're probably just fucking with me. but i still love you

Yeah yeah Nietzsche is the Father and Creator of existentialism. For Christ's sake...don't hink so.. hehe

Good luck with your work, though
Remember my view that Nietzsche was just an egoitist
