Anyone seen Red Dragon??

I have huge expectation on this picture, I can tell ya. Anyone that can enlighten me? Is this film a shame for the prequels (or sequels) or a masterpiece?

its a great prequel. As with any movie, don't go into it with high expectations and you will love it.

You (labret) was. Should I avoid it, to still consider Silence of the Lambs as a jackpot?

BAH! The media machine had me so hyped up for ultra violence, and that part was a severe letdown.

And the plot was so thinly veiled that your average housewife from Georgia could have followed along. Yet they tried to craft it in such a way as to make your average dumbass think that he was smart for catching on and being able to think ahead. If you couldnt see every single part coming in that movie before it actually happened, you would have to be braindead. The only thing good were the actors. Some of the imagery and cinematography was good, but I couldnt get past the shit storyline. It was so stereotypical good guy versus bad guy, you knew exactly how it was going to end. And that makes it a bad movie.

I think the plot is the most important thing with a film, regardsless what actors or directors who has contributed.

Hell yeah, a bad plot ruins a film. It is sad to see good actors making shit movies.

A review is a review. If people are giving editorials about a movie being so violent that it should be pulled off the shelves, I expect to see some horrific violence. I watched a woman damn near cry on MSNBC because she felt in such violent times as we live in, that a movie this violent would only further decay society into anarchy, and was put out in bad taste.

Now god damnit, I expect violence. And it didnt deliver. I dont go to movies much anymore because of shitty movies like this.

The action sucked, the plot sucked, the actiing was good... I give it thumbs down. Go rent Pi.

I love Pi.

I can't believe you listened to the 44 year old lady with the midwest hair cut, the Nebraska Corn Huskers T-shirt, the old "tennis shoes" and the "I love Tipper Gore" button (rusted back) pinned to her purse that was on MSNBC.
