Anyone tried that water for gas hybrid kit? I guess you add some water to this tube and it creates over 1000 gallons worth of Hydrogen fuel to supplement your cars gas consumption. People claim they get 80 miles to the gallon now.

If it seems to good (which it does) then it probably is. A great hoax, but none the less a hoax. The whole process of extracting hydrogen from water requires a lot more effort then just some plastic tubes and a thingey on your carb.

And if it really were real, why dont the car industry already use it. If the oil companies supressed it, how come they havent just thrown a few million at this guy to shut him up? It doesnt make sense so it isnt real.

However you can get hydrogen cars where the hydrogen fuel the chemical reaction in a battery powering an electric engine that in turn runs the car. Far more plausible idea, and they actually work.

This is due to the impurities of the water. Your only safe bet and sure fire way to not have to deal with this is by using distilled water only. Yet another cost.

Now a good process will indeed produce hydrogen and usable energy that can be burned from its production. You are lucky to be pulling even a watt or two's worth in a short period of time. Of course you could allow it to build up first (heat issues again, plus storage issues) and then you effectively have a supply of energy that can be converted again. One of the reasons NASA uses it is it is more cost efficient to send it to space and that most of the equipment used operates on super tiny amounts of electricity. Though they would generate more power if they could pull a streamer behind themselves in the shuttle in space (different topic).

Nobody is really trying to hide this technology. Hell people are actively looking at hydrogen cars and the real stopping issue is the infrastructure. Yet adding a small little tank to your car is not going to do shit but make someone a few hundred dollars.

Efficient hydrogen production is a reality. It just uses a few methods to help curtail the other side issues. Obviously if you can generate the electricity via hydroelectric then you are ahead of the game as that is also clean and at same time is renewable. Using the sun and the huge as reflectors they now have (check Spain, Australia) also produce a great deal of power that could in turn be pushed through water and stored as hydrogen. Though for the most part unless you have a windmill, a solar farm, a waterwheel, or some other renewable energy that is free or nearly free you just end up using power from grid and most of that comes from coal.

Right now though is a time right for scammers. People may easily get suckered into some device that is a water battery yet it just costs like 15 bucks per kilowatt hour or some shit assuming it can even produce that much on a steady bases.

Speaking of free, renewable energy...I recently read an article about how newer solar cells are getting up to 50% efficiency, up from only about 6-10% that the shitty first generation ones get...and just like every other modern scientific breakthrough, the newer cells use, you guessed it, nanotech.

The only thing is that Stanley Meyer was proven to be a fraud by a court in Ohio. He wasn't killed by oil companies because a) that happened years later, well after the horse had bolted and would ahve served absolutely no purpose... b) it didn't work because it violates the laws of physics.. c) even on the .00001% chance someone did kill him it would have been the people he defrauded.. and d) H didn't even invent it, a new fraudster pops up every decade to claim the exact same technology (with maybe one or two insignificant twists) Yull Brown was probably his immediate predecessor.

Not only that but are being combined with the actual product itself, ie the steel in steel roofing or the glass in a window. It's not just the overall efficiency growth.. it's the variable environment they can produce electricity in - actually producing electricity by moonlight because they use artificial photosynthesis.
