I have it as but never played it. My brother plays it a lot but I play Call of Duty 4 online. Nothing beats it.

btw why you being a cheap ass? Go to a store and buy it. Its only $80.

Then just sell it on ebay for $60 plus $10 p+p and you only lose $15 or something.

I've never played mine, but I'll play it one day I think. You shouldn't buy a PS3 if you aint willing to spend the money on the games.

I didn't bother buying a PS2 until the first gran turismo came out for it. If you're a cheapass just go by GT3 for like $20 or less anywhere brand new... play that for a few days and if you like it get GT4.... its the only car/driving series worth buying. GTA and GT are two different series

But yes, the Gran Tourismo games are pretty amazing.

We have old modded XBoxes hooked up to all our TVs and the network. That's still one great little media player.

The PS3 doesn't play mkv out of the box. You can but it involves , but there's an app that makes it possible called MKV2VOB. I was just looking it up a few days ago, but haven't gotten around to testing it.

Not yet. The games are on Bluray discs too, so that makes it a bit more difficult to pirate.

At some point you'll be able to load ISO files from an HDD, but as far as I'm aware that's still a ways off.
