This is fucking rediculous.
"2) What does Brad have to do with this? Besides "catching the thieves" because he "fucking hates thieves". That's interesting coming from him. After all, right after he met Cathy from SinLinks, he registered all the "Sin" names he could and tried to sell them back to her!!! (Heard this story from Cathy at Internext so I only have one side). Not necessarily thieving, but interesting ethics anyway. " I'm shocked that she would be so naive and immature at the same time. I really expected more out of her. Have you even visited my sites? Our domains may have the same prefix but our programs, products and branding have absolutely nothing in common. Besides which, when did the word 'Sin' become unique in the porn vernacular? If I was just some domain speculator or copycat then I guess it's a fluke that I sell over a million dollars a year in SinTalk phone sex. As a courtesy I recall offering Cathy undeveloped Sin___ domains from my list of over 50. This whole story is really funny considering the fact that her domain SinLinks was registered in 5/1999 and I didn't attend my first convention until New Orleans in May 2000. I didn't know anybody until my first convention. I have Sin domains going back to February of 2000, just check my Bulkregister records: SINHOST.COM SINGALLERY.COM SINTGP.COM SINPICS.COM SINCAMS.COM SINLIVE.COM SINEMAIL.COM SINEROTICA.COM SINMONEY.COM SINRANK.COM This thread is a waste of time. Everyone can go fuck themselves. Brad |
Seriously???!!! hmmm, that's interesting. As a courtesy you offered the names to her? Though they weren't developed? At what price did you offer them? So she had SinLinks.com and you registered SinLink.com...hmmm?

I don't know about you but when I have $5000 in domain renewals annually, I'm always willing to sell one here and there. Usually, though, people contact me when they're interested. I usually just ask for an offer on domains to accept or counter. I don't remember if I ever threw a price out. The question isn't why do I have Sinlink.com registered, it's why wouldn't I based on the other Sin domains I still have:
SINADULT.COM SINAMATEUR.COM SINAMATEURS.COM SINBONDAGE.COM SINBOOK.COM SINBOYS.COM SINBUCKS.COM SINBUSINESS.COM SINCAMS.COM SINCASINOS.COM SINCOMPANY.COM SINCONTENT.COM SINDVD.COM SINEMAIL.COM SINEMPIRE.COM SINEROTICA.COM SINEXTREME.COM SINFANTASY.COM SINFILM.COM SINFILMS.COM SINFRIENDS.COM SINFUN.COM SINGALLERY.COM SINGAMING.COM SINGODS.COM SINHARDCORE.COM SINHOST.COM SINLINK.COM SINLIVE.COM SINMARKET.COM SINMEGASITE.COM SINMODELS.COM SINMONEY.COM SINMONSTER.COM SINPHONESEX.COM SINPICS.COM SINRADIO.COM SINRANK.COM SINSHOPPING.COM SINSOFTWARE.COM SINSTATS.COM SINTALK.COM SINTGP.COM SINVIDEOS.COM I still have all these registered... The important ones are developed, the other ones aren't. This is my list after deleting several domains over time and trading/selling some too. There are three Sin domains I wish I had: 1) SIN.COM 2) SINSTORIES.COM and 3)SINCHAT.COM ... which is on it's way from a friend of mine who was kind enough to snap it :) I don't make a living by domain speculation and I'm still finding it hard to believe that she suggested she was either my inspiration or that I was a domain squatter. That's silly! We both have unique and different businesses. Should I be apologizing that I have a superior Sin domain list? <lol> Cheers, Brad |
dont know what this has to do with the original post really.....anyway, you never answered my question, brad. why the hatred towards the lesbians a side from they are 'thieves'? why did you tell on them? seems to me it was none of your bisness??

good reading! join in again tomorrow for another episode of "Canadian Webmasters Gone Wild!"
|
I learned one very important fact in reading this entire thread:
That I'm apparently willing to wade through 3 pages of drama that I really don't care about as long as it starts off with 2 lesbians accused of doing something bad together. :thumbsup |

I thought there was going to be a new episode today?
It is an interesting topic however. How do the larger companies prevent these types of situations from occuring? It's not the first time I've heard of this kind of theft happening, just the first time I heard of a company actually taking action against one it's former employees in court. Usually it's just easier to break their legs or something. Costs a lot less money. I think it's a real dilemma. You have to trust your employees to handle business ethically, but how can you trust someone you just hired. I've had lists stolen from me in the past by an employee that got all crazy because I fired him for being unproductive. I've had employees sending out resumes while they are getting paid to work for me. I've had employees trying to start their own side businesses while on the job. This is why I like to do all the important shit myself! |
